FOR: FISHING, GARDEN SOIL IMPROVEMENT, REPTILE LIVEFOOD SOURCE
Top Quality ‘SMALL/MEDIUM‘ lobworms (Lumbricus terrestris) due to a number of requests, we have separated out our small/medium lobworms so you can be abit more choosy in either selecting large/medium sized lobworms or Small/medium lobworms. whether your fishing for Trout, Salmon, Perch etc or adding to your reptiles live food source needs or adding lobworms to the garden to improve soil health and drainage – lobworms are an excellent addition.
‘Gardening the Natural way’ lobworms (also commonly known as earthworms or garden worms) will work and rejuvenate the soils health, condition and overall drainage (even clay soils) as lobworms work deeper in the soil than compost worms they burrow down and drag surface matter into the depths allowing much needed oxygen into the soil rejuvenating the soil naturally. Using lobworms in the garden is easy – simply dig a few trowel depth holes in a number of areas in the garden, place a small amount of lobworms in the holes, recover with the soil/grass and water in (as a guideline the general ‘rule of thumb’ is approx 10 lobworms per square metre).

As the other review states, these are brilliant for Axolotls. It’s great that they have smaller ones as our little water monsters have always struggled with the regular size. Many thanks

I have been ordering (S) Lob Worms from Y.W for well over a year now, all I can say is my Axolotl certainly enjoys them! They come very well and humanely packed up in a baggie, and in a sturdy cardboard box. Delivery is very quick, about two days, and I even got a free sticker with my last order :0) some advice I can share for Axolotl keepers is, make sure you order the SMALL size. I once ordered large, and I had to cut the worms up (I felt awful).
